Pound Lashes Back at Armstrong

Lance Armstrong and Dick Pound are absolutely not going to be on each others’ Christmas card lists this year.

Armstrong recently released an open letter to, as he put it, “those interested in international sports,” criticizing WADA chief Dick Pound and calling for his removal. Now Pound has returned the volley, saying that the open letter only harms Armstrong’s cause.

“It’s a very stupid thing for him to have done,” said Pound. “It makes him look silly and foolish. He has made a lot of statements that are just wrong and he has relied on a report that everybody understands is fatally flawed.”
