Voigt Wants a Schedule Shift

From Team CSC’s blog:

Jens Voigt felt vindicated with his impressive stage victory Saturday. Many people were questioning the 34-year-old German after he finished last in the long time trial last week. He rode slowly with the idea of saving his strength for a huge effort like Saturday’s. The strategy paid off with a great win for the team. “There were a lot of questions about my last place in the time trial,” Voigt said. “It’s a question of character. I didn’t want to quit. I didn’t want to give up. You have to force luck on your side sometimes. Now I think I should have 10 official rest days until the Tour de France ends.”
